Rondje Maartensdijk – Tienhoven. Zonnige vrijdagmiddag, 8 graden, zuidoostenwind. Nog veel bladeren aan de bomen en veel modder in het bos. Tot vlak na zonsondergang gereden en aan het einde een extra lusje om de 100 te halen.

Dan toch nog een (koude) gouden herfstdag. Rondje Zegveld – Woerden. Bijna windstil en zon, 4 graden. Perfect. Heerlijk rondje met stukken (bij Zegveld en Woerden) die ik bijna nooit rij. (En een pontje).

Bosbaan en Amsterdamse Bos. Eigenlijk geen tijd (werk), maar omdat bijna zeker morgen niet kan rijden toch een goed uurtje stelen. Grijs, noordoostenwind, 5 graden.

Rondje Loenersloot. Novemberblues bestrijden. Droog. Langs het kanaal heen. Zuidoostenwind. Tweede helft ging vanzelf.

Spanderswoud en Corversbos. Zonnige zondag en bijna windstil. In het Spanderswoud door de modder, smurrie en natte bladeren. Heerlijk fietsweer. Jammer dat ik niet meer tijd had…

You are warmly invited to our symposium Sonic West: collective urbanism through a multiplicity of listening. Join us at OBA De Hallen/Belcampo for this one-evening event. A number of artists, authors, theorists and practitioners will reflect upon the ongoing project Sonic West.

We invite makers, artists, community members, students, designers, activists, politicians, theoreticians, humans and non-humans to come and think about the the societal significance and use of community art projects concerning itself with the sonic aspects of social life. The project Sonic West will be used as a concrete example to discuss questions like can shared listening practises lead the way to a more just city? This evening both speakers involved in the project as well as speakers with an outside view will reflect upon these questions and entice those present to ‘hear into’ a future more shared city.

Helemaal aan het einde van de middag, een uurtje, bij donker terug. Na een hele dag regen. (Maar ik kon toch niet eerder weg). Rondom de Ouderkerkerplas.

Achtje met kanaal. Vrijdag einde van de ochtend, begin middag. Omdat de zon zo mooi scheen. En dat in november. Ritje met het Diemerbos, het kanaal en de Gein.

De regen naderde langzaam vanuit het zuiden maar de wind was oostelijk. Daarom een rondje Waterland. Op de Schellingwouderbrug terug reed ik de regen in.

Om Bussum heen. Zondag. Eigenlijk was ik van plan een ander rondje te maken, maar de regen naderde uit het zuiden en in het Spanderswoud begon het al zachtjes te miezeren. Daarom koers richting noorden en dan weer terug. over de onverharde paadjes: smurrie. (De fiets was toch al vies). Ondanks de regen toch nog veel wandelaars. Pas voorbij Naarden was het echt rustig. Toen regende het ook echt.
